I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream!

Nothing says summer is here better than a soggy ice cream cone and a hand covered in dripping chocolate hard shell and twist soft serve ice cream. You know what I’m talking about don’t you - that sticky mess we put up with just to cool off and satisfy our sweet tooth.

Yum, ice cream! Remember those hot summer days when the ice cream would melt faster than you could eat it? This summer sure isn’t living up to those memories. But you know, I think that is one of the best things about this summer being cooler – I can actually enjoy the whole cone without it dripping to the ground.

The contest for this issue if you haven’t guessed is all about ice cream. We want to hear about your cold delights. You have had ice cream this summer, right? If so, was it at home or at an ice cream shop? If it was at home did you make it homemade or buy a carton? Did you eat it right out of the carton with a spoon or did you put it in a bowl or cone? If you splurged at an ice cream parlor, what did you get? Are you a hand dip or soft serve kind of person? Are you a cup or cone fanatic? What kind of cone – waffle, sugar or regular? Do you like hard shell, nuts or sprinkles? What is your signature flavor or do you have a couple ole standbys? Are you one scoop or two? Maybe you’re not even a cone lover, but dip into a shake, soda, malt, flurry or float? What’s your flavor temptation for those? Or do you indulge with a split or sundae? If so, what’s your topping- strawberry, hot caramel, hot fudge, whipped cream, or all the above or maybe even more?
